The Kontu cottage lies apart from other cottages  between the lake and the forest.   Kontu is a peaceful chalet best suited for one or two guests. From the window and the porch, you have a wonderful view of the lake, and you can admire the glow of the fireplace from the bed. It only takes a moment to have the continuously heated sauna ready for bathing, and the rowing boat at the lakeside is freely at your disposal.

The cottage has a living room (with a dining table, a 140cm bed, sofa-bed and a fireplace), and a well-equipped kitchenette with kitchenette with a refrigerator, oven and a stove, microwave oven, coffeemaker and kettle, a toaster, and cookware and tableware for five. The heat-storing fireplace maintains a comfortable level of warmth and makes it possible to grill some sausages, for example . The cottage is supplied with a TV, a video and a CD player with an USB-connection. The price includes the use of Wi-Fi.

There is a continuously-heated electric sauna, shower cabin and a water toilet in the chalet. There is an underfloor heating system in the wet rooms. There is direct access from the sauna to the terrace in front of the chalet with a view of the lake Keitele.

The garden around the chalet is surrounded by the lake and forests. The rowing boat on the shore next to Kontu is available for the guests in the chalet, and the life jackets are also included in the price of the chalet. In the winter, you can use the kick-sled free of charge. On the front yard there is a stone barbeque and a garden table with chairs. On the backyard there is a woodshed where the guests can freely chop extra firewood. In the winter, you can use the kick-sled free of charge.

Car park is behind the cottage. For the colder winter days, there is a power socket on the outside wall of the cabin that allows you to heat the car before driving.

There is a path that leads to a lean-to in the woods just behind the cottage. Indeed, there’s an old forest road,  where you can take a stroll with your dog for example, or just enjoy our nature.

Cleaning up after your stay: €50, or you can clean up the cabin yourself. Sheets and towels: €15 per person, or you can bring your own.
