Peukaloinen is a cabin that was renovated and extended in 2018. The cabin is now about 50% larger than before and its equipment was upgraded to meet the more sophisticated requirements of today’s guests. The cabin represents a beautiful balance between the past and the present. Customers have been particularly satisfied with the pleasant steam in the sauna and the terrace where you can cool down afterwards, as well as the large storage facilities and beautiful views of both the woods and the lake.

There is a living room with a dining table, sleeper sofa and fireplace, kitchenette with an oven and a stove, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, and tableware, and two bedrooms in the cabin. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a double bed that can be separated into two beds, and the other with a bunk bed and a single bed. There are also cupboards for clothes in both bedrooms.

You can access the terrace directly from the electric sauna and bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, and hairdryer. There is an underfloor heating system in the wet rooms.

In the living room, you can find a TV with a VCR and DVD player with a USB connection. A wireless internet connection is included in the price of the cabin.

The front door opens to a terrace with a table and chairs and a view of the lake. The natural stone grill, as well as the table and benches made from logs, invite you to spend the evening in the garden. There is also a parking spot for your car on the yard. For the colder winter days, there is a power socket on the outside wall of the cabin that allows you to heat the car before driving. A rowing boat is available for the guests of the cabin, free of charge. Life jackets are included in the price of the cabin and we recommend wearing them when rowing on the large, rocky lake. In the winter, you can use the kick-sled free of charge.

There’s an old forest road starting behind the cottage, where you can take a stroll with your dog for example, or just enjoy our nature.

The rental price varies according to the season and starts from €100 per day. Cleaning up after your stay: €50, or you can clean up the cabin yourself. Sheets and towels: €15 per person, or you can bring your own.
